Police Searching for Jewelry Suspect
Police are searching for suspects in a jewelry break in at Garabedian Jewelers in town.
The Shrewsbury Police are searching for someone who threw a piece of concrete through the door at Garabedian Jewelers and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry early this morning.
At 3:06 a.m., the Shrewsbury Police responded to a business alarm at the jewelry store located at 1000 Boston Turnpike in the Old Shrewsbury Village Plaza.
When police arrived, they discovered the store had been broken into and that someone had smashed out the glass front door with a piece of concrete from the plaza.

Upon gaining entry to the store, the suspect or suspects stole an undetermined amount of jewelry from the store, according to Police Sgt. Alfred Pratt, in a press release.
Police officers searched the area with the assistance of Shrewsbury Police K-9, according to the press release.
