Police: Two Men Arrested for Attempted Murder
Police arrested two men after a woman jumps from a car near Route 9.

On July 3rd, 2012 (Tuesday) at 0053 hours the Shrewsbury Police responded to the area of Route 9 and Harrington Avenue for a report of a woman who had jumped out of a car.
When police arrived, the woman said she had met two men in Worcester and had agreed to have sex with them for a fee. The victim further described they then proceeded to a house at Main Circle in Shrewsbury.
While in Shrewsbury, the woman said an altercation had allegedly occurred and the victim was choked and threatened by the two men and was not allowed to leave.

The men then took the woman in their car where she claims she jumped from the car and asked for help at the CVS located on Route 9 & Harrington Avenue.
The police investigation led them to the address at 9 Main Circle where the two defendants were placed under arrest. The Shrewsbury police officers who investigated and made the arrests were Officer Adam Bullock, Officer Sean Maynard, Officer Adam Cameron, Officer Timothy Charland, and Detective Timothy Finacom.

The two arrested were:
Morla, Renzo Vincent Morla, 40, of 9 Main Cir., Shrewsbury and Juan Carlos Gonzalez, 33, of 6 Catalpa St., Worcester. Both were charged with assault to murder, kidnapping, larceny and solicit for prostitute.
The men were taken to Westborough District Court Tuesday morning where they were arraigned and a $10,000 dollar bail was placed on each Defendant.
