Purple Bridge, Purple Bridge: Shrewsbury, Boston Honor Prince With Lights
Worcester, Shrewsbury and Boston joined cities across the country to awash its bridges in purple in memory of Prince.
WORCESTER-SHREWSBURY, MA — Tributes and memorials continue to dominate the country, and social media, in the wake of the unexpected death of Prince at age 57 on Thursday.
Many cities across the country honored the beloved icon by washing its bridge in purple light. Worcester-Shrewsbury and Boston joined Minneapolis and Brooklyn on Wednesday evening, with the Burns Bridge in Worcester-Shrewsbury and the Zakim Bridge in Boston awash in purple.
