Rain Moves Summer Concert Inside In Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY, MA—The concert scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Dean Park from 6-7:30 p.m. has moved inside due to rain.

The Blackstone Valley Bluegrass band is playing inside at the Shrewsbury Public Library.

Over the years this seasoned group has built up a solid and ever expanding repertoire to go along with an engaging stage performance, said the announcement. The band plays a wide range of bluegrass styles, but what really sets them apart are their powerful three and four part harmonies.

Free and open to all ages. Free ice cream will be provided, while supplies last. Sponsored by Parks & Recreation and the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library.
