Readers' Choice Best of Patch Winner: Dean Park Pizza

This week, our readers chose an unlikely place to eat Irish food, but the restaurant offers a full menu, not just pizza.

The winner of the Patch Readers' Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day is: .

Receiving 26 percent of the total votes, Dean Park Pizza will be serving corned beef and cabbage every day through Sunday.

The pizza place is located just around the corner for the largest park in Shrewsbury, Dean Park, and is open Monday through Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. with breakfast served on Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 11:30 a.m.

Dean Park Pizza also offers online ordering and catering, just not after 9 p.m. daily. And it offers a full menu from soups and salads to steak and tacos as well as seafood and Italian main dishes like baked ziti and eggplant parmesan. They also offer a kids' menu and desserts.

"We make everything from scratch for our corned beef and cabbage," said Louie Karageorgis, owner and manager of Dean Park Pizza when learning his restaurant won the poll. "And our menu is reasonably priced. And we treat our customers like family."
