Residents Report Mysterious Opening Door, Smokers
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, May 2
7:32 a.m.: Paramedics were requested for a 35-year-old woman who had passed out from a migraine on Bowditch Drive.Â
7:44 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash with injuries was reproted in the area of 476 Hartford Tpke. Two cars were towed and one person was taken to UMass.

11:34 a.m.: A caller reported a mattress fell off a vehicle's roof on Hartford Turnpike and the driver was trying to put it back on the roof. Police responded and the mattress and driver were gone upon arrival.
1:22 p.m.: A caller on Boston Turnpike was concerned for a young child sitting in a car; the caller was concerned that the adults in the car could have been smoking. Police did not make contact with the adults in the car.

2:31 p.m.: Animal Control was called for a dog that collapsed on School Street.
2:51 p.m.: A caller advised a man was sitting in the pass near 86 Oak St. Police responded and found the man was working on the Asian Longhorn beetle project.
4:10 p.m.: A caller could hear a thumping on the upper floors of her Berkshire Road home. Police responded.
4:56 p.m.: A caller reported he was involved in a motor vehicle caused by road rage on Taha Drive. There was no injury; police responded.
Friday, May 3
1:45 a.m.: A caller stated his/her garage door opened on Stoney Hill Road. Police responded and could not determine why it opened. Roughly 25 minutes later, the resident called 911 again, saying the door had opened again. Police spoke to the caller.
