7 Children Taken To Hospital After Shrewsbury School Bus Crash
Seven children and the bus driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
SHREWSBURY, MA — A Shrewsbury school bus carrying ten children and a tractor-trailer crashed on Route 20 on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on Route 20 near South Street and Walnut Street. Shrewsbury police said seven of the ten children on the bus were taken to the hospital from the scene along with the bus driver, but all injuries are minor. The children and driver were taken to UMass Medical Center.
The children were on their way to the Al-Hamra Academy.

Photos from media on scene show the front left side of the bus took the brunt of the hit.
Traffic on Route 20 heading east was delayed while police investigate — officials said drivers should find another route.
