Selectmen Deny Dead End Request
5 things you want to know from last night's selectmen's meeting.
In case you missed it last night:
1. The selectmen voted to deny the request to make a dead end street on Clews Street. Â Town experts and engineers met with the residents and after research (which included comparing it to previous research gathered at requests made before), the selectmen voted unanimously.
2. They also approved adding an enforcement bylaw for zoning issues in towns. Signs like the inflatable and wavy signs like what's sometimes in front of the shopping plaza or may be a thing of the past, sad for kids who like spotting it on Route 9, but selectmen hope to make the signage adhere to bylaws in place by adding fines and fees for subsequent offenses.
