Shrewsbury Delays Trash Pickup Ahead Of Storm

The town has not declared a snow emergency, as the National Weather Service updated its snow totals for the region. ​

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury is getting ready for the first major snow storm of the season and declared a snow emergency on Wednesday.

Shrewsbury will not collect trash or recycling on Thursday and pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. The town has not declared a state of emergency.

The town's Highway Division set up several pages to help residents understand its snow and ice operations.
