With just under six months to go, national and state-wide candidates are hitting the pavement to garner votes, even in Shrewsbury.

Dinky's Restaurant and Brody's Diner seem to be the hub for politicians since both and have visited the favorite breakfast spots. Brown visited Brody's in March and Warren stopped by Dinky's in April.

The diner is usually standing room only for breakfast on the weekends and when both candidates came to town to visit (at different times) the line reached out the front door.

The Democratic Town Committee has thrown its support behind the President Barack Obama.

And the Republican Town Committee is supporting former governor and Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern, who covers the third district across the state, which includes Shrewsbury will be adding Grafton to his communities come January.

Ballot: There could be as many as four initiatives on the fall ballot.
