Shrewsbury, Get Your Yard Waste To The Curb: You've Got 3 Chances

Clean up your yards and let the town pick it up.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Shrewsbury residents, you've got three opportunities to get your yard waste to the curb so the town can pick it up.

This program is for Shrewsbury residents that participate in the Pay As You Throw (PAYT) Program.

Yard waste must be put in the 30 gallon paper lawn and leaf bags and lined up at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regular Rubbish collection day during the following weeks:

April 9 through April 13
April 23 through April 27
May 7 through May 11

Small branches will also be accepted if:
They are no larger than 3 inches in diameter
Cut into 4 foot lengths
Securely tied into bundles

PAPER LAWN & LEAF BAG REQUIREMENTS:
Bags must not be over-weighted. Should be able to list waist high.
Bags must not be over-flowing and able to close.
Bags cannot be torn or deteriorated at the bottom.
Please do not place the bags out at the curb any sooner than your Rubbish collection day during the designated weeks.
Yard waste must be free of rocks and dirt.
