Shrewsbury Gets Its First Recreational Marijuana Shop
Verilife settled into Shrewsbury and celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday.
SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury's first recreational marijuana shop opened its doors on Tuesday. Verilife Shrewsbury is the town's first "adult-use" or recreational marijuana shop and is starting its introduction slow.
The Verilife Shrewsbury location is along Route 9 at 939 Boston Turnpike. The shop will only be accepting customers by reservation as they begin business. Customers can order products online and swing by the store to pick them up. Later on in the month, the shop is expected to start accepting walk-in customers.
On Verilife's menu there's more than just the traditional "marijuana flower" but also vapes, edibles and concentrates as well as topical products. The shop is currently only licensed for recreational sales but may move to include medical marijuana in the future, according to a press release.
