Shrewsbury High Listed In Top 100 MA Schools For 2020

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury Senior High School made it onto the list of the top 100 schools in the state. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. Shrewsbury Senior High was listed as 79th.

Shrewsbury Senior High School has 1,792 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. According to state test scores, 93 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 98 percent in reading.

The school has a 97 percent graduation rate and an average SAT score of 1280, according to Niche. It was also highly rated by Niche in several categories, including best high schools for athletes in the state, best public high schools in the state and best public high school teachers in the state.
