Shrewsbury Local Wins First Place In International Photo Contest Through Ithaca College

ITHACA, NY - Shrewsbury native Michela Del Po, won first place in the People Category for the International Photo Contest sponsored by the Ithaca College International Club.

Del Po captured the award winning photo, “Whistle While You Work,” during her study abroad trip to Venice, Italy through the Ithaca College London Center. Her photograph documents a man crafting a figurine. Del Po's experiences on the trip inspired her to submit it to the contest.

“It helps me remember that no matter where we're from in the world we all have a passion,” Del Po said. “We're not so different after all.”
