Shrewsbury Man Dies After Being Pulled From Pool
An unresponsive man was found in a backyard pool and later pronounced dead.
SHREWSBURY, MA — A 60-year-old man from Shrewsbury was found unresponsive in a backyard pool Wednesday morning.
According to a Facebook post from Shrewsbury Police, they say first responders arrived to the scene just before 9 a.m. after receiving calls of an unresponsive man found by a pool.
They say responders immediately attempted lifesaving measures, after a good samaritan tried to resuscitate him.

The victim was transported to UMass Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The identity of the man has not been released and police are investigating how this incident happened.
