Shrewsbury Man Wins $38,000 at World Series of Poker

That's what Jesse Martin, of Shrewsbury, heard before ranking in the top 300 players in the No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament for the World Series of Poker.

The buy-in was $10,000 and Martin, a professional poker player, won $38,453.

This adds to his reported total winnings of $944,075, according to PokerPages.com.
