Shrewsbury Parks And Recreation Reviewing Phase II Guidelines For Youth Sports Activities

PARKS PHASE II

YOUTH SPORTS

Parks and Recreation is currently reviewing Phase II guidelines for Youth Sports activities. There are many steps that need to take place in order for team practices to happen and we are working with local sports groups on the protocols. Sports organizations will be contacting participants when play can begin.

BASKETBALL COURTS

Basketball courts will be open in the near future under phase II guidance. We will be issuing more information next week.

PLAYGROUNDS

We are awaiting further guidelines on playgrounds before we can begin to open playgrounds. We will be issuing more information as it becomes available.

TIMING

Due to limited park staff when the time comes, locations will be opening up over a period of time so that regular maintenance such as lawn mowing and trash removal can continue.
