Shrewsbury PD Arrest Worcester Pair In Stolen Car: Police

A 20-year-old and an 18-year-old were arrested and face several charges including receiving a stolen vehicle.

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury police spotted a car that was reported stolen out of Worcester and arrested the pair inside on Monday.

A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Worcester, were arrested in Shrewsbury and are facing several charges including receiving a stolen vehicle.

Shrewsbury police were tipped off by Worcester police to look out for a white Nissan Rogue that was reported stolen and involved in an attempted larceny from a Worcester postal facility. Shrewsbury officers spotted the car on Route 9 near Home Depot on Monday and stopped the car once it got to South Street, according to police.

The driver was the 20-year-old and the 18-year-old was in the passenger's side.
