Shrewsbury Public Schools: Full Day Of School Wednesday (June 9)

Dear Shrewsbury Families,

Based on the weather forecast, I have determined that all Shrewsbury Public Schools will run on a regular schedule for a full day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, June 9. 

Although they will be better than today, conditions inside of non-climate controlled schools (Beal, Coolidge, Floral Street, Oak, & SHS) will be uncomfortable. I ask that families ensure that students come to school having eaten breakfast, dressed in light clothing and with a refillable water bottle.  Schools will put a variety of other heat mitigation strategies into place as well.

Thankfully, it looks like the cooler weather is in store from Thursday onward.
