Shrewsbury Ranked No. 3 in Central Mass.

Out of 72 cities and towns in Central Massachusetts, Shrewsbury is ranked third best, according to GoLocalWorcester.

The Worcester-based online news source has been releasing "Central MA Best Communities" rankings throughout the week, starting with the lowest-ranked and ending with the highest.

Shrewsbury's biggest draw, according to GoLocal, is education. Long has Shrewsbury officials marketed that bang for the buck, you get a lot of education and services out of the lower tax rate.

But surprisingly, Shrewsbury wasn't ranked high for affordability, with a score of 61.
