Shrewsbury Students Make the Grade

The following students make the Dean's List at area colleges.

To be eligible for dean's list status, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis (A through C) to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

Ermioni Moutoudis, a resident of Shrewsbury, has been named to the Dean's List for the 2011 fall semester at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.

Ermioni is one of 409 students honored for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the Dean's List. To make the Dean's List, students must have a grade point average of 3.33 or above.

The following local residents were among over 3,000 students from the University of Massachusetts Boston who made the Fall 2011 Dean's List:

UMass Boston has an undergraduate enrollment of more than 11,000 students and offers degrees in dozens of academic majors. UMass was one of 218 colleges and universities to recently make The Princeton Review's "Best in the Northeast."
