Shrewsbury Toy Drive Still-On With Drive-Thru Twist

To limit the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, this year's Shrewsbury Toy Drive will be a drive-thru event.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Police Department is still holding this years' Annual Toy Drive, but instead of walking in to drop off toys the event will be held as a drive-thru.

The toy drive will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Shrewsbury Police Department 106 Maple Avenue. The drive-thru event will include various social distance measures. The police department is asking for toys to benefit the local community to be distributed through the staff at Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services.

This year more than ever the drive is asking for gift cards, paper products, laundry care supplies and personal hygiene items to fulfill the needs of those receiving assistance through Saint Anne's Human Services.
