Shrewsbury Voters Pick Mitt Romney

Like the rest of the state, Shrewsbury has picked Mitt Romney as the presidential candidate for the Republican party.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won Massachusetts, Virginia and Vermont, according to Boston.com.

Shrewsbury residents followed suit as they picked Romney in the Republican presidential primary. Here's the breakdown of how residents voted:

All Republican and Democratic Town Committee members that ran for re-election were elected as they all were running unopposed.

Democratic candidates for Guy William Glodis and Mary Anne Dube ran unopposed and were elected as state committee man and woman, respectively.

This was the first time in that the were used and results were announced from all precincts with an hour of polls closing.
