Teen Charged With Possession of Drugs, Dangerous Weapon
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Saturday, May 11
12:25 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Clinton Street. Kyle Stark, 17, of 6 Kirk St. was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of a class B substance.
1:01 a.m.: A 911 caller from Fieldstone Drive asked for police assistance after a burglar alarm at their house was activated.

7:49 a.m.: A caller from Hartford Turnpike reported a dryer fire that had possibly extended to the walls. The Shrewsbury Fire Department was able to respond in time to contain the fire to the dryer.
10:34 a.m.: A caller from St. Anne’s reported a person using counterfeit $20 bills. Officers responded and took a report.

11:48 a.m.: A caller from Boston Turnpike reported a hit and run crash.
3:14 p.m.: A caller from The Stove Place on Hartford Turnpike reported a larceny.
