Town Center Clock Destroyed

A crash at the center of the town demolished the clock at the town center.

The black clock at the center island near Maple Avenue and West Main Street was hit by a truck earlier this week. It was knocked down.

.

"The town has referred the matter to Bartlett, a company that assists with insurance claims," said Selectman Moira Miller. "Barlett will handle all insurance paper work in addition to construction to see that the clock is replaced.  Estimated repair costs are $20-30k. The town fully expects that the clock will be replaced at no cost to the taxpayer."
