Tree Fire Knocks Power To Shrewsbury Streets
Several trees are down and a tree fire was reported near North Quinsigamond the surrounding streets.

SHREWSBURY, MA — Downed trees and a tree fire temporarily cut power to several streets in Shrewsbury on Tuesday afternoon.
Power was cut in the area of North Quinsigamond/5th Ave and Oak Street near Robin Road. Shrewsbury fire crews worked to put out a tree fire in the area while the department of public works cleared the downed trees that fell on the utility wires.
SELCO, Shrewsbury's utility company, also sent a crew to get services back online for customers in the area.

No word on injuries.
Two trees are down in the area of North Quinsigamond/5th Ave and Oak Street near Robin road. The areas are closed and vehicles are being rerouted.
