Troop 4 Westborough Shrewsbury Newsletter

The events of Troop 4 Westborough-Shrewsbury over the past month

Troop 4 has had an action packed March starting with the 6 new scouts that we got. To match all the new scouts gained, another troop 4 eagle was gained as well. So congratulations Matt Wolohan, for reaching the highest honor in scouting. Another early March event was some of our scouts helping out in Shrewsbury’s St. Mary’s fish fry. Scouts helped set up and serve the food to the members of the community. Later in the month we had our annual ski trip to Sunday River up in Maine, and everyone who went had a blast with the amazing snow conditions that were had on the first day of skiing. At our last meeting of the month, we had local taxidermist Steve Mudgett of Deershorn Taxidermy teach the scouts about the taxidermy process. Taxidermy is a long process of great care that takes days to complete, starting with just a hide and ending with a work of art.
