Two Arrested in Postal Break-in

After a car was pulled over, police arrested a man and woman in White City.

After a observed erratic driving near White City, Shrewsbury police arrested two Dracut residents were arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Tuesday night.

Heather Hamelin, 27, of 236 18th St., Dracut, was arrested on Jan. 31 by Shrewsbury police and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a burglarious instrument. Judge Robert Calagione continued the case to Feb. 24.

Troy P. Stone, 26, 2361 8th St., Unit 16, Dracut, was arrested on Jan. 31 by Shrewsbury police for receiving stolen property, possessing a buglarious instrument. Judge Robert Calagione continued the case to Feb. 24.

Police found a cash box in the trunk of the car with a crow bar as well, according to court records. The box was filled with both rolled coins, cash and loose change, which were separated into separate draws like in a cash register.

The police also found laptop computer components and a large amount of postal stamps. They also found several flashlights, screwdrivers and knives, according to the report.

There were also warrants out on the two suspects and police were looking for thw two after a commercial break-in in Lincoln the previous night, police said.
