Two Shoplifters Face a Judge in Court
One shoplifter was found guilty and the other entered a guilty plea.

Wednesday, July 18:
Kelly Cochrane, 31, of 50 Franklin St., Apt. 301, Worcester, was arrested by Shrewsbury police on June 10 and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise over $100 and possession of a Class B substance. Judge Calagione accepted Cochrane’s guilty plea on the first charge and ordered her to pay $300. The remaining charge was dismissed without prejudice.
Denise Lewis, 48, of 3 Middlesex Ave., Worcester, was arrested by Shrewsbury police on June 10 and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, second offense. She was found guilty and was ordered to pay $300 in fees.

Dawn Mahoney-Moyen, 40, of 87 Georgetown Dr., #5, Framingham, was arrested by Shrewsbury police on Jan. 2 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, failure to stop and refusing to identify herself to police. Judge Robert Calagione dismissed the suspended license charge if she pays $200. She was found not responsible on the failure to stop charge and the remaining charge was dismissed.

Merced-Cirino Jos Omir, 22, 179 Austin St., Apt. 3, Worcester, was arrested on July 17 by Shrewsbury police for operating a motor vehicle without a license, speeding in a regulation zone. Judge Calagione sentenced him to fines of $200 and $250.
Aleksandr S. Lunev, 47, 36 Aylesbury Rd., Worcester, was arrested on Feb. 5 by Shrewsbury police for OUI, marked lanes violation, possession of an open container of alcohol and possession of a class E drug. Judge Calagione sentenced Lunev to one year suspended probation, a 90-day program and 45 day loss of license for OUI.
