Two Shrewsbury Residents Charged With Assault and Battery
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 5
12:46 p.m.: A caller from Grafton Street reported a suspicious item near her mailbox. An officer responded and removed the item.
12:53 p.m.: A caller from Melvin Avenue reported a domestic assault. Alexandre Cesar, 38, of 38 Melvin Ave. was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

3:30 p.m.: Officers responded with medical personnel to a two-car crash at the intersection of Stoney Hill Road and Hartford Turnpike. Both vehicles were towed.
5:27 p.m.: Officers responded to a three-car crash on Hartford Turnpike. One person was transported to UMass Medical Center and at least one vehicle was towed.

8:23 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an electric fire in their house on Walnut Hill Lane. Officers assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department.
Thursday, June 6
1:12 a.m.: A caller from Minot Avenue reported a person banging on their front door. Officers responded and took one male in to protective custody.
4:55 a.m.: Officers responded to the same location on Minot Avenue for a report of a dispute. Michael Russell, 24, of 5 Minot Ave. was arrested and charged with assault and battery on police officer, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
7:49 a.m.: A caller from Tamarack Lane reported illegal dumping of yard waste.
3:01 p.m.: Officers assisted the fire department with a car fire on Boylston Street.
4:39 p.m.: an officer conducted traffic enforcement on Wilder Road and North Street. Several written and verbal warnings were issued.
Friday, June 7
12:38 a.m.: An officer spoke with people in a camper at Petco. The people said they would be leaving in the morning.
12:57 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike. Michele Lucas, 46, of 25 Central St., Ashland was arrested and charged with operating with an expired license and marked lanes violation.
9:03 a.m.: A caller from North Quinsigamond reported an assault. An officer responded and issued the male involved a no trespass order.
12:14 p.m.: A caller from Oak Street reported vandalism to their car tire.
5:10 p.m.: A caller reported that a pickup truck had just sideswiped a vehicle and then continued on. An officer stopped the pickup truck and took a crash report.
6:09 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Boston Turnpike. Antwi Boeteng, 38, of 132 Country Club Blvd., Worcester on warrant charges.
