There's a winter weather advisory in effect for the area.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Massachusetts until 6 p.m. today.
Accumulations around the Mass Pike area may reach 6 inches, though the forecast calls for 2 to 4 inches of snow for Shrewsbury, according to the National Weather Service.
