VIDEO: Lego Robotics Club

Students displayed their lego projects at Spring Street School.

students showed off their Lego projects at the Lego Robotics Club.

Each group had the same box of Lego parts and had to create a project based on the theme "Snack Attack." Many teams compete in state-wide and national competitions, but this was a pilot program the school tried out this spring.

"The students did a great job," said Spring Street School Principal Bryan Mabie. "It is great to see their projects come together."

Parent volunteers coached the teams and the club met after school, once a week.

The projects were on display one night and then some groups donated their Legos to the school. Other groups broke apart their projects and shared the pieces. The students involved were in grades 1 through 4.
