White City Improvements Include Gym, Frozen Yogurt

Plans have been approved to renovate the on Route 9.

The former Michael's location will house a gym, which did not need any changes to the current use of the property. The existing parking will also stay the same.

Construction and improvements have already started improvements to the facades of the buildings as well as aligning the exits to both plazas on North Quinsigamond Avenue and adding a traffic signal, according to Town Planner Kristen Wilson.

A patio will be added to the , a frozen yogurt place has acquired a license for the former Friendly's location and a patio will be added to Chumlee's. The building housing the will be demolished by next summer.

The traffic signal and facades will be completed by August of this summer and the rest will be completed by August 2013.
