Woman Summonsed After Vandalizing Car, Shoplifter Arrested

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, June 8

12:47 a.m.: The Worcester Police Department recovered a motor vehicle that had been stolen from Shrewsbury.

12:31 p.m.: A caller reported a male harassing a female near Tanfabulous Tanning. Officers responded and told the man he was no longer allowed near the business.

1:23 p.m.: A resident of Edgewater Avenue went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report that a backpack containing personal information had been stolen from their vehicle.

1:49 p.m.: A caller from Roberts Street reported that his ex was on the scene damaging his vehicle. Police are seeking a summons to charge the woman.

9:31 p.m.: A caller reported a large group of youths causing a disturbance on Wachusett Avenue. An officer spoke to the youths and had them return home.

Sunday, June 9

2:41 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Old Mill Road and arrested Santos Jiminez, 34, of 14 Douglas St., Worcester and charged him with drunken-driving.

7:39 p.m.: A caller from Bumblebee Circle reported a male with a compound bow in the area. An officer responded and spoke to the man.

Monday, June 10

11:38 a.m.: A caller from the Christmas Tree Shoppes plaza reported a male and a female shoplifting. Officers responded and arrested Amanda Bellemore, 20, of 459 Main St., Harwich on a charge of Shoplifting by asportation. Timothy Ricci, 21, of 459 Main St., Harwich was arrested on the charge of obstruction of justice and a warrant charge.
