29th Annual South End Open Studios Saturday & Sunday September 19 - 20

United South End Artists, Inc. will present the 29th annual South End Open Studios event on Saturday and Sunday, September 19 & 20, 2015, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM rain or shine. The event is free and open to the public.

Locations include artists’ studios and art galleries at Boston Center for the Arts 551 Tremont Street; SOWA at 450 Harrison Avenue and buildings at 535 Albany Street; 35 & 59 Wareham Street; 46 Waltham Street; and other studios in Boston’s South End neighborhood.

Since 1986, South End Open Studios has provided a once-a-year, back-stage pass that invites visitors to explore and enjoy the creative environment of Boston’s largest and most exciting community of working artists.

A number of artists will present in-studio demonstrations of media such as painting, printmaking, and jewelry making. Over 200 artists will showcase their work, with local galleries displaying work by national and international artists.

Come purchase work directly from our Boston artists! Free shuttle service will be available to transport visitors to most studios and galleries.

Free printed guides that list the locations of participating artists and galleries will be available at official South End Open Studios information tables, located at the entrance of Boston Center for the Arts, 551 Tremont Street and at the sidewalk area of 560 Harrison Avenue.
