CEO of Cambridge-based CityVoter, Josh Walker, stopped by Flour Bakery in the South End to congratulate owner Joanne Chang for winning “Best Bakery” and “Best Reason to Cheat on your Diet,” in CityVoter’s recently completed competition, “The Boston A-List.” The Boston A-List featured more than 2,500 local businesses in over 230 categories, all contending for the title of “best” in Boston, as decided by the voting public. Flour Bakery beat out 39 other nominees to win the “Best Bakery” category. Launched in 2005, CityVoter has generated successful voting campaigns in more than 40 different cities. With a database of more than 2 million registered and repeat voters, CityVoter also offers a collection of online reviews for 1.7 million businesses.
