State Representative Aaron Michlewitz Elected Chair of Boston Delegation

State Representative Aaron Michlewitz was elected Chairman of the Boston Delegation by his fellow Boston Legislators for the 2011-2012 Legislative Session. The Boston Delegation is made up of every legislator in both the House and Senate who represents the City.

“I am truly honored to have been elected Chair of the Boston Delegation and I am humbled by the support of my colleagues,” said Representative Michlewitz. “With tough fiscal times on the horizon it is crucial for the Delegation to find issues that we can come together on and advocate for the best interest of the people of Boston.”

The delegation is made up of 17 Representatives and 6 Senators from the Boston area. The delegation is traditionally used for members to meet regularly and find legislative solutions to city-wide concerns.

“Whether it will be working on housing concerns, funding programs, or quality of life matters, I am looking forward to working with the delegation, the Mayor, and his administration to continue to make Boston a world class city.”
