Boston Harbor Hotel Unveils Lineup for 17th Annual Summer in the City Entertainment Series

Boston Harbor Hotel invites you to spend your summer nights enjoying live waterfront entertainment and al fresco dining at one of the one of the city’s most anticipated outdoor summer traditions, the Summer in the City Entertainment Series. Beginning on Thursday, June 11, 2015 and running through Thursday, September 10, 2015, guests and passersby will have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary concerts, movies and live entertainment from the hotel’s unrivaled waterfront location.

As the sun sets, the harbor comes alive with different bands performing nightly on the hotel’s floating entertainment barge. Cool breezes, passing yachts, Chef Daniel Bruce’s award-winning cuisine and cocktails al fresco all paint a lively scene that is reminiscent of the European seaside, but is entirely unique to Boston. With each night sporting a different theme from Summer Soul Tuesdays and Rat Pack Wednesdays to Blues Barge Thursdays and Movies by Moonlight Fridays and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Soul Tuesdays: Playing a mix of R&B and soul, Tuesday’s bands will highlight favorites such as Sweet Tooth & The Sugar Babies, Soul City, World Premier Band, Soul Sound Revue, and more!

Rat Pack Wednesdays: A tribute to the original Rat Pack, Wednesday nights will capture the swinging magic of this famed era with a contemporary spin on the classics including Alex MacDougall Band, Steve Memmolo, Mike Dutra Strictly Sinatra Band, and Justin Beech Band.

Blues Thursdays: What began as the foundation for the Summer in the City Entertainment Series when it launched 17 years ago, the Blues Barge– anchored behind the Boston Harbor Hotel – now provides the setting for some of the best local and national blues artists to share their talents every Thursday in the summer.

Movie Night Fridays: Revisit Hollywood’s silver screen and modern classics with an all-star lineup of movies every Friday night against the backdrop of the starlit harbor. Start the weekend early and enjoy cocktails or dinner before the movie begins at dusk.
