Daytime Intruder Arrested in the South End, Police Say
Victim was taking out the trash at the time.

An East Brookline Street resident received a surprise visit from an intruder Friday morning, police reported.
According to a report of the incident, a resident of 83 East Brookline St. was taking out the trash around 8:43 a.m. Friday morning when an unknown individual entered his home behind him.
When he re-entered his residence, he found the intruder in his bathroom, police said.

After calling police, the victim waited outside his home for help to arrive. Officers were able to locate the suspect, later identified as Dan O'Sullivan, 54, of Boston, in the bathroom when they arrived.
O'Sullivan was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime.
