Five Things: City Leaf Collection Schedule
The city will be collecting bagged leaves during trash pick-up through November.

Today is Tuesday, October 25. Here are five things you need to know:
1. Sunny today with highs around 60. The wind will be picking up with gusts up to 25 mph.
2. Now that the leaves are falling, here's how to dispose of them: The city will pick up leaves and yard waste left at the curb during recycling day from now until December 2. Leaves must be placed in paper bags or open barrels, no plastic bags will be collected. For more guidelines, click here.

3. Had your flu vaccination yet? The city has a on Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. at the city's 1010 Mass. Ave. building. If you can't make that one, here's a link to find others.
4. District 2 City Councilor Bill Linehan has been endorsed by the Boston Teachers Union, his campaign announced. Linehan is running for re-election against former Boston Public School principal Suzanne Lee.
