Five Things: Fruit Salad on the Corridor

The South End Knitters are at it again with knitted fruits and veggies adorning the park.

1. Mostly sunny today with highs in the mid 70s. Patchy fog in the morning and Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

2. The newest knitting to adorn the Southwest Corridor Park is in the form of fruits and veggies. The South End Knitters have draped the West Newton Street entrance with grapes, apples and even some chile peppers. Check out our photos above.

4. Think you have what it takes to sing the national anthem at Fenway Park? 93.7 Mike FM is holding auditions on Sunday, August 21 from noon - 2 p.m. at LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners.
