Five Things: Gov. Releases 'It Gets Better' Video

Patrick becomes one of many politicians to participate in the global movement.

2. Governor Deval Patrick released his own "It Gets Better" video on Friday to offer hope and encouragement to young people experiencing bullying based on their sexual orientation.

“I know what it’s like to be different, believe me,” said Patrick in his message. “But I want you to know there are also people around you who do understand, who care about you, who encourage you."

3. Head over to today at noon to participate in a Hokey Pokey Flash Mob hosted by United South End Settlements. The event begins at 10 a.m. and features a puppet show and balloon show in addition to the flash mob. Click here for more details.
