Five Things: House Tour Tickets On Sale
Sponsorship tickets are available for the Historical Society's 43rd Annual Tour.

1. Another sunny day in the South End with highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
2. Sponsoring the South End Historical Society's 43rd Annual House Tour is easy - click here and choose your sponsor level, then pay with a credit card or via paypal. If you purchase sponsor tickets by August 25, your name goes in the program. Sponsor tickets include entrance to the Sponsors' Party following the tour on October 15.
3. Want another way to part with some money for a good cause? The Pine Street Inn is holding a for its Upton Street residences. Just choose the household item you'd like to donate, and purchase it through the Wal-mart registry.

4. The Boston String Quartet needs volunteers. In April 2012, 150 high school musicians from across the country will come to Boston for a three-day musical collaboration as part of the Xibus World Orchestra. The high schoolers will perform alongside members of the Boston String Quartet, the Turtle Island String Quartet, and other special guests. Here's where you come in: the program is looking for volunteers to host music students in their homes. 5. The Union Park Neighborhood Association is still looking to hire a photographer/reporter to attend social events and take photographs for its newsletter and web site. Good writing and social skills required. Compensation is free admission to all events including wine tasting. Email info@upna.org for info.
