Five Things: Jamaica Plain Mother Still Missing
Police unable to confirm reported South End sighting.
1. Partly sunny skies with a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s and winds around 5 to 10 mph.
2. Police are still searching for Jamaica Plain mother Amber DeVoe, who's been missing since last Tuesday. Although police received several reports of a sighting of Amber in the Washington Street area of the South End, detectives were unable to confirm that it was her. 3. Boston has been ranked fifth in the country for enrivonmental sustainability by the Economist Intelligence Unit, the Mayor's office announced. The city earned a top score in the categories of energy and water use per person and was recognized as the first city to adopt commercial green building standards.

5. The Friends of Peters Park are stepping up their community outreach. The group held a meeting on Tuesday to talk about the rules and regulations of the Joe Wex Dog Run and the importance of financial support from users to ensure it's maintaned. We'll have a full story later this morning.
