Today is Monday, March 14. Here are five things you need to know:
1. Cloudy skies and cool weather are in the forecast for today. Temps should reach the upper 30s and winds are expected to be a calm 5 to 10 mph.
2. Looking for something to do with your child today? The has two great options. At 10:30 a.m., stop by for a short film suitable for preschool children. At 11 a.m., toddler story hour begins with nursery rhymes and songs, short picture books and simple crafts.

3. Do you give your skin the time it deserves? has introduced its "Weekday Quickie" - a 20-minute facial for $20. From Sunday through Thursday, clients can get all the benefits of the regular facial, including cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating of the skin, in half the time.
"We felt that the quickie facial would be a value-add to our clients that otherwise might not have the time for a full treatment in a particular week," said Skoah owner Peter Dziedzic. "The price is clearly another added-bonus."

4. The deadline to submit a proposal for a public artwork installation at the Boston Marine Industrial Park is Monday. The winner will have his or her art displayed for 18 months. The piece should "celebrate the innovative and ecological spirit that will define Boston’s Innovation District," according to the Boston Art Commission.
