Rain and snow, library event and a new website for Aaron Michlewitz.

Today is Thursday, March 31. Here are five things you need to know:
1. And it begins...rain showers are slated to stop by this afternoon replacing cloudy skies and temps in the mid 40s. By night, precipitation should pick up, with a chance of snow after midnight. Friday? Snow and rain.

“Although personal interactions will always remain essential in public service, it is also important to use technology and new media outlets like Facebook and Twitter to reach people," Michlewitz said in a press release announcing the site. "With the new website, constituents will be able to know the latest news and...contact me more efficiently.”
3. While we're on the subject, Michlewitz will be holding his first of the spring on Saturday at . Stop by between 10 a.m. and noon to chat with Aaron and share questions and concerns.

5. This weekend, visit the Mary Baker Eddy Library for "First Saturday," part of a series of informal and educational programs at the Mass Ave. library that are free and open to the public. This week, Reference Librarian Ann Kardos will host the second half of a book discussion on Wide as the Waters: The Story of the English Bible and the Revolution It Inspired by Benson Bobrick.
The discussion, which begins at 11 a.m., will take in chapters 4-5 and the appendices, which cover the story of the King James Version of the Bible (a rare 1611 version is now on display at the library).
