Flynn Sworn in as District Two Councilor-Promises access to all.

On New Years Day Ed Flynn was sworn-in as the third District Two City Councilor since the inception of the combined Four At-Large and District Councilor system was created in 1983.
Standing before a packed house of diverse volunteers from all corners of the district , Ed was joined by Councilor Michelle Wu as he thanked his family and volunteers for all their hard work.
In an emotionally moving speech Flynn said " I will be a bridge builder, connecting all of the neighborhoods of this district together. I am someone who will welcome our new residents but will not leave behind our long time neighbors. I will work for additional affordable housing, services for our seniors and veterans, enhanced quality public education and be a friend to those seeking recovery".
