Get Off the Couch: It's Time to Gentle Stretch

Swet Studio, Located in Boston's South End, Is Offering Gentle Stretching Group Fitness Classes on Sunday Afternoons

Wrapped in a silk hammock, you will experience the health and fitness benefits of Swet Studio’s® Gentle Stretch. Not only does regular, full-body stretching increase flexibility, range of motion, and posture, but it has been shown to reduce muscle soreness and back pain.

Gentle Stretch is a Beginner’s Level Class and great introduction to use of the Hammock, in which participants will learn basic wraps, grips, and traps. This class is especially beneficial for older newcomers or individuals who have contraindications for flipping upside down (e.g., high blood pressure, recent surgeries, pregnancies, injured athletes and the like). Rather than inversions, the focus of this class is to learn how to use the Hammock as a perfect stretching partner.
