James Beard Best Chef Northeast Award Goes To Boston Chef
Karen Akunowicz of Myers and Chang in the South End Just won for Best Chef of the Northeast.
SOUTH END, MA — Congrats to the 2018 James Beard Award winning Best Chef for the Northeast, Karen Akunowicz of Myers + Chang restaurants. James Beard is like the food version of the Academy Awards.
This is a big deal.
Akunowicz is the executive chef and partner at Myers+Chang. She's also been on Bravo Tv's "Top Chef" and is co-author "Myers+Chang at Home." She was up for this same award in 2015, 2016 and 2017 as the James Beard Nominee for Best Chef Northeast.

Myers + Chang is situated at 1145 Washington St. in the South End.
