Mediterranean Pop Up To Take Over South End's Wink & Nod Kitchen
About every six months, a new chef takes over the menu at Wink & Nod. Here's who's next.
BOSTON, MA — A new Mediterranean spot will be popping up in Boston's South End at the Wink & Nod Craft Cocktail Speakeasy on Appleton Street.
To catch you up: Wink & Nod runs a culinary incubator program where every six months a new chef takes residency in their kitchen. The idea of the rotating kitchen is to invite a new restaurant group to run their kitchen and experiment with dishes and pair them with the Speakeasy cocktails.
"With this program, Wink & Nod hopes to contribute to the development of up-and-coming Chefs by providing them with a restaurant platform in which to operate and showcase their talent," reads a post on their website.

Humaari, which will bring on the hummus and other Mediterranean-inspired food replaces Spanish-inspired Pareja, which closed on Saturday, March 17.
Behind the Mediterranean pop up is Chef Louis DiBiccari, who ran Tavern Road in Fort Point with his brother until the restaurant closed last summer.

Humaari will be a fast-casual spot that is grounded by their homemade hummus and pita, offering toppings such as sautéed beef, mushroom, red onion, pomegranate and harissa in an effort to prove hummus is more than just a dip. Look, too, for dukkah gnocchi, and according to a post on Facebook.
Humaari will be open Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (drinks until 2 a.m.) for the next six months.
Since Wink & Nod opened in 2014 there have been at least seven other pop ups taking over the kitchen, including Pelekasis, Gita, Akinto, and Little Owl Tavern.
